As a celebrity dentist, I’ve found that many people overlook a common problem when seeking the perfect smile: dark gums. I have treated thousands of people for dark gums using a gum bleaching technique that I developed. - Gum bleaching removes dark blotches in less than 1 hour. Many people live with dark gums for years because they don’t realize how simple and quick the procedure is. My patients can usually be treated on their lunch break within 45 minutes to 1 hour.
- The area is typically numbed, so treatment is not painful. The fear of pain or discomfort is another common reason people don’t seek treatment for dark gums. However, gum bleaching is a relatively minor dental procedure. A topical numbing agent is all that is needed to reduce blotches comfortably and safely.
- There is no downtime needed. My patients return to their normal routine immediately after treatment. Most are able to talk and eat normally and do not experience any significant discomfort.
- Results are permanent. One of the most attractive aspects of gum bleaching is that the results are permanent. Although many people get the results they are looking for with just 1 treatment, others may require multiple sessions. Once you achieve healthy-looking gums, you will enjoy them for many years.
